Tower Defense can't look much better than this. Grave Defense HD is free today care of Amazon and their fantastic Appstore.
Mmm, tastes like chicken. Well that's zombie bat flesh actually. This tower defense game for Android takes a dark zombie approach and throws it at your screen with vibrant colors and sharp graphics, hence the "HD" in the title. Every detail in the game is rendered in high definition, though they don't mention how high.
The HD version also includes a new multi-screen level on top of all the Grave Defense Gold levels. These levels are not a cake walk and if you are a beginner to this genre you may be at it for a while just to figure out where to place your first two turrets. Quickly in the campaign you'll discover the maps have multiple routes. This adds to the overwhelming challenge for beginner and intermediate players. Though, to counter this gameplay design, you may choose between four difficulties, from Easy to Insane.
Having played the game for around an hour already, I like what I've seen and hope to unlock more weapons as the levels progress. I'm looking forward to the Survival mode. It will be interesting what that'll do to my battery.
